No, due to security restrictions you can only use this lounge if you are departing from Terminal 1. We also have a lounge in Terminal 2 for flights departing from there. Unfortunately we do not have a lounge in Terminal 3.
Does this lounge have a good view of the airfield?
This lounge has arguably one of the best views in the airport, looking across the bustling airfield and runway below. Guests can marvel at some of the biggest and newest aircraft in service, arriving and departing at the UK’s third busiest airport. So sit back and relax on your very own chaise longue whilst taking in the fantastic view.
Does this lounge have somewhere that I can work?
Should you wish to catch up on last minute business, The Aspire lounge at Manchester Terminal 1 offers private, single occupancy rooms (equipped with a desk) for guests to use completely free-of-charge. The lounge also offers a large Quiet Zone should guests wish to work in an open area.
Do you have any local specialties?
We are proud to offer Boddingtons Bitter in addition to our standard drinks selection.
Does this lounge have a dress code?
We understand that all our customers want to travel in comfortable clothing with our lounges having a relaxed dress code to reflect this. We do ask that guests refrain from wearing sportswear (such as football shirts, tracksuits, baseball caps etc) and clothing with offensive slogans. Smart, tailored shorts are accepted.
How do airport lounges differ from the busy cafés or restaurants in the airport?
We are very different - Our lounges offer simple snacks and light meals away from the hustle and bustle of the main airport terminal, but we don’t offer full meals. Cafes and restaurants offer full meals within the main terminal area, however if you’ve travelled through and airport recently, you’ll know how busy these establishments can get. So if you’re looking to help yourself to a range of snacks, along with a few drinks, free WiFi, great customer service and a tranquil environment with a guaranteed seat, airport lounges are for you.
Who is this airport lounge open to?
All travellers, no matter which airline or class of travel, are welcome. It’s a common misconception that you have to be a first or business class passenger to get access to an airport lounge, and this isn’t the case. We do however ask that passengers adhere to our smart casual dress code which is outlined below.
Does this lounge have facilities for children?
We are pleased to welcome families and children into this lounge, but we do not provide a specific area for children or creche facilities. We do however provide group seating, equiped with smart TVs (enabling you to download content from 4OD / BBC Iplayer) which may help keep children entertained.
Can I earn LoungeMiles® Stamps at this lounge?
Yes you can at all UK Servisair and Aspire Lounges.
