Please note that work begins in January 2015 to bring you a bigger, better Aspire Lounge at Luton Airport.
During this time lounge capacity will be reduced, and whilst we will do our best to keep any noise to a minimum you may hear a bit of work going on. Please bear with us during this time, we promise it will be worth the wait.
Is this lounge being refurbished?
Yes, that's correct, the Luton Aspire lounge is being refurbished, extended and vastly improved.
This does mean that during this time (until Spring 2015), guests will encounter a slightly smaller lounge and potentially a little noise whilst we make these improvements. Our workers are very vigilant and carry out most work at night; They also try to keep the noise levels to a minimum, but since this is a large extension to what is currently on offer, it may be that you hear minimal works noise.
What is the new Aspire Lounge going to be like?
The new Aspire Lounge is set to be a game changer. Not only will our food and drink offering be improved, but the new lounge will include a Spa, offering a great range of treatments to ensure you are fully "pre-flight pampered".
Further improvements include the introduction of SnoozePods (which will enable guests to full recline and relax in peace), a much larger lounge (the new Aspire is over twice as big) as well as cutting edge interiors, all aimed at making you feel relaxed and content.
Does this lounge have a view?
Yes, the lounge overlooks the busy departure hall below meaning guests can sit back, relax and unwind whilst watching the hustle and bustle below.
Where is the lounge situated?
The lounge is easily accessible once you have gone through security. Simply follow signs for the departure gates. The lounge is located on the first floor, with stairs between ‘Accessorize’ and ‘Voyager Entertainment’. Lift access is also available.
Does this lounge have a dress code?
We understand that all our customers want to travel in comfortable clothing with our lounges having a relaxed dress code to reflect this. We do ask that guests refrain from wearing sportswear (such as football shirts, tracksuits, baseball caps etc) and clothing with offensive slogans. Smart, tailored shorts are accepted.
How do airport lounges differ from the busy cafés or restaurants in the airport?
We are very different - Our lounges offer simple snacks and light meals away from the hustle and bustle of the main airport terminal, but we don’t offer full meals. Cafes and restaurants offer full meals within the main terminal area, however if you’ve travelled through and airport recently, you’ll know how busy these establishments can get. So if you’re looking to help yourself to a range of snacks, along with a few drinks, free WiFi, great customer service and a tranquil environment with a guaranteed seat, airport lounges are for you.
Can I earn LoungeMiles® Stamps at this lounge?
Yes you can at all UK Servisair and Aspire Lounges.
Who are airport lounges open to?
All travellers, no matter which airline or class of travel, are welcome. It’s a common misconception that you have to be a first or business class passenger to get access to an airport lounge, and this isn’t the case. We do however ask that passengers adhere to our smart casual dress code which is outlined below.
Catching your Flight
All lounges have flight information screens within the lounge and due to the number of flights departing at any one time, flight announcements aren't made by lounge staff - we'd ask you to keep an eye on when your flight leaves.
We're open to all Travellers
We welcome all travellers whether you are travelling economy or first class and as long as you agree to our terms and conditions of entry. We are also open to you no matter which airline you are travelling with. Do make sure that your flight leaves from the terminal you are booking.
Drinks, Snacks and Hot Food
Drinks and snacks are provided completely free of charge and are available for you to help yourself although we do ask that you enjoy the food and drink within the lounge and don't take it out.
Some items are only available at selected times of the day (ie breakfast items). Champagne and cocktails are available for an additional charge. Alcohol is not available to people under the age of 18.
