Belfast City Aspire Lounge
Great place to relax before a flight.

Visited Aspire lounge at George Best Airport Belfast. Had used it a few years ago and found it reasonable standard but oh dear how disappointed we were on our latest visit. My husband and I got the last two bowls of soup and toasties (5:50pm). Carpeted areas were filthy. We watched at least 10 other people arrive after we did - they walked around and around the food area with plates looking for something to eat other than a tray bake and crisps but alas neither the empty soup urn nor the toastie warmer were replenished. Most lifted crisps, crackers and cheese - ok you might think but given it was dinner time and the average cost is £24 per head surely it would have been easy to have prepacked sandwiches or wraps or salad boxes for any time of the day. Nothing to do with COVID - if you’re allowed to help yourself to drinks and unwrapped fruit then why not provide decent savoury food. Absolute rip off.

Recent visit to George Best Belfast City Lounge was superb. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. The lounge is spacious, quiet and relaxed with a great selection of food and drink.

Great lounge - excellent, friendly staff. Good range of drinks and good service. However, breakfast hot food could have been better. Will definitely use the lounge again.

The worst lounge I’ve ever visited. The only food offering was stale toastie’s that crumbled when touched. Service was non existence as the staff looked as if they couldn’t care less!

Staff were all very friendly, food and drink were lovely. Very good value for money, and will go back when I'm travelling again.

This is for previous visits. My booking for 25/05/2020 was cancelled. The airline cancelled the flight in March so there was no need to use the Aspire Lounge

Because of the collapse of Flybe I didn't get to use the lounge and have still to be offered a refund.

A disaster. No hot drinks as the machine was being replaced. I asked if they could pop right next door to Starbucks and was told, in no uncertain terms, NO. The lounge was really cold. Myself and at least 2 other people asked if the heating could be turned up but it remained really cold. The only hot food was lukewarm, watery, tasteless soup. Will not recommend or use again.
