COVID-19 and our Annual Membership Programme
As the situation with Covid-19 continues, we are all aware of the impact that this has on our daily life. As many airlines have now significantly reduced, or in some cases, even stopped flying for varying periods of time, and as Governments continue to enforce measures to prevent the spread of the disease, we have now taken the decision to continue with the closure all of our UK Aspire Lounges, with lounges remaining closed until 1st June. This decision is under constant review and is made based on Government advice, as well as working with airlines to ensure that we have the most up to date information. The specific lounge pages and our Covid-19 information page on this website will be updated with any changes to this closure period.
We value all of our customers, but for those that are current holders of an Aspire Platinum or Aspire Platinum Plus Membership Card, we want to make sure that you are not disadvantaged by these lounge closures that are outside of our control. We have therefore taken the decision to extend your membership, completely free of charge, for a period of 3 months after the expiry date on your card. This new extension supersedes the previous extension of 30 days.
There is nothing you need to do. If your card was valid as of 16th March 2020 (the date of the first lounge closure), then your card will continue to be accepted in our lounges for 3 months after the expiry date on your card.
